As far as the width goes, it's a CSS thing. My emulator shows that it rotates, but now I have my doubts. Thanks for pointing that out. Phone number worked for me locally but not on your .mobi site. Setting the width of the body to 320px or whatever in CSS doesn't actually trigger the zoom (though I think width:100% will, effectively). I'm pretty sure that's another .mobi + iOS oddity. Try the same CSS/HTML on a non .mobi domain.
